Roughly how it goes
Honest ranges rather than promises, because everyone is different.
Your first class
Mostly logistics. Where your feet go, what the straps are, which way the carriage moves. You’ll concentrate hard, and that’s exactly right.
Classes two and three
Setting up stops being a puzzle. You start listening to what we’re saying instead of watching the woman on the next bed.
Four to eight
You begin to feel the difference between doing a movement and controlling it. This is usually when it turns from something you’re getting through into something you enjoy.
Eight to twelve and onwards
Familiar exercises feel steadier and you can hold a position for longer. This is where most women notice a change in how they move about their day.
One weekat atime
One class a week, kept up, does far more than three classes in a fortnight followed by a month off. Progress here comes from repeating good movement, and that needs turning up more than it needs trying hard.
A gentle way in
Two classes for £30 is enough to get you past the unfamiliar bit before you decide anything at all.
